Aube Elleouet Breton(1935-) is a French surrealist woman artist with a body of work that spans five decades. The daughter of surrealists Andre Breton and Jacqueline Lamba, Breton developed her own style, referred to as “Romantastique” characterized by combinations of vivid color photos, maps, and ephemera where she plays with dimension and scale.  Her storytelling is reminiscent of ancient Greek drama, her saturated palette heightening the pageantry. Breton Elleouët has exhibited alongside artists like Dorothea Tanning, Kay Sage, Remedios Varo, Leonor Fini, and Mimi Parent.
