Pages have light age toning and occasional small smudges, else pristine and intact. Replete with full-page black-and-white plates of natural subjects and scenery. Beautiful collection of essays from Thomas Wentworth Higginson's Outdoor Papers, first published in 1863. The essays are Higginson's ruminations upon natural subjects.
