Good stiff brown paper envelope folder, white lettering to cover flap and interior flaps, white architectural drawing to cover, creasing and rubbing to all edges and hinges, closed tears at corners, interior showing light staining, else intact, clean, and unmarked. Houses 8 Very Good cream colored paper envelopes, each bumped at the edges with light age toning to edges, some with closed tears to edges, else clean and intact. Each paper envelope houses the loose measured architectural drawings of one property in the National Historic Trust including elevations, exteriors, floor plans, site plans, architectural ornamentation, and other site-specific elements. Sites here included are: 1. Cliveden - The Chew Mansion, 16 of 17 sheets included, C. Stanley Runyan Architect; 2. Shadows-on-the-Teche - The David Weeks House, 17 sheets - complete; 3. the Pope-Leighey House - Usonian House, 9 sheets - complete, Frank Lloyd Wright, architect; 4. Lyndhurst (includes 2 copies of complete set of sheets - 2nd copy has some staining to exterior of envelope), 16 sheets - complete, architects Robert E. Hatch and Roger C. Erickson; 5. Casa Amesti, 10 sheets, complete, Dick Sutton, chief architect, Kenneth Cardwell, supervising architect; 6. Belle Grove, 15 sheets - complete, Major Isaac Hite, architect, contributing designer Thomas Jefferson; 7. Decatur House, 23 sheets - complete, Benjamin Henry Latrobe architect. They also serve as examples of the type of detailed record that should be made of all historic structures, as the demolition, alteration and destruction of our cultural resources continue.
